1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CPU AI website, its developer utilities and related AI features (the “Service”). The Service is developed and operated as the independent CPU AI project. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms reflect the currently available browser-based tools and optional AI chat. Features described as “planned”, “preview”, “proposed” or “coming soon” are not included as binding service commitments.

2. What CPU AI does — and does not do

CPU AI provides tools for coding assistance, source-file organization, limited code review, read-only public GitHub exploration, agent instruction authoring and project planning. The free chat uses an AI model via a Cloudflare Worker. Some tools work locally in your browser and are not connected to an AI model.

CPU AI is not currently a fully autonomous coding agent, a hosted terminal, a guaranteed security scanner, a private-repository editing service or an automatic code deployment platform. Code review and agent-related materials may be preliminary, template-based or heuristic. You are responsible for testing and approving any changes you apply.

3. Accounts and sign-in

  • Free AI Chat requires Google sign-in. You must control the Google account you use and may not impersonate others.
  • CPU AI uses a session cookie after Google authentication. Do not share access to your account or use scripts to bypass authentication and daily limits.
  • Google account data is used to identify you and support your CPU account; Google sign-in is not a Google API subscription.
  • We may restrict abusive access to preserve service availability or comply with legal and security requirements.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload, distribute or request processing of content that you do not have the right to use or disclose.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, account takeover, service disruption, quota bypass, credential theft, malware deployment or interference with other users.
  • Use the Service to mislead, harass, defraud, exploit or violate applicable laws and the rights of others.
  • Attempt to extract, expose or distribute secrets or private information belonging to third parties.
  • Send excessive automated requests or abuse free AI capacity, public GitHub API access or shared infrastructure.

We may block specific abusive requests or suspend access as reasonably necessary to protect the Service.

5. Your source code, prompts and AI outputs

You retain ownership of source code, files, prompts and other content you submit, to the extent you hold those rights. You grant CPU AI and its necessary service providers a limited permission to process submitted material only to provide requested features, such as AI responses and saved conversation history. You are responsible for ensuring you can lawfully submit that content.

AI-generated material can contain mistakes, insecure patterns, bugs, misleading claims or material resembling third-party works. Independently check correctness, licenses, security, suitability and the applicable requirements of your project before publishing or relying on AI output. CPU AI does not guarantee code will compile, work or be safe.

Using Copy, Export, Download or Patch Review does not mean code has been executed, tested, applied or deployed. Local Workspace data remains in your browser unless you deliberately use the opt-in Cloud Project Sync buttons or share a code snippet in chat. Cloud copies are stored in Cloudflare D1 under your signed-in CPU AI account, are not end-to-end encrypted, and can be deleted by you. Do not upload secrets or code you lack the right to store.

6. Third-party infrastructure and links

CPU AI uses Google Identity Services, Cloudflare infrastructure and Workers AI, and may access public GitHub APIs through your browser. These services may have separate terms, privacy policies, rate limits or outages. External websites linked from CPU AI are not controlled by CPU AI. An optional operator-only AI route may use OpenAI when configured; it is separate from free Google-linked chat.

7. Free AI allowances, performance and future pricing

At the date of these Terms, the Free AI feature is designed for up to five model requests per Google account per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. This is a service limit, not a guarantee that every request will succeed. The underlying provider's capacity, quotas, downtime and technical limits may reduce availability.

CPU AI may adjust quotas, models, eligibility rules and available features. Any future paid features or token-based privileges will require separate disclosures about price, performance, limits and how the feature works. We make no commitment of uninterrupted or permanent free service.

8. Proposed $CPU token

$CPU is currently a proposed ecosystem concept. These Terms do not announce a live contract, sale, token allocation, chain, airdrop or entitlement. CPU AI Free AI currently does not require token holdings.

Potential future token utilities, such as optional extra compute credits or community contributions, remain subject to engineering, security and legal review. A token would not guarantee financial returns, profits, rewards or governance rights unless specific verified terms were published separately. Do not send funds to any unverified “CPU” token contract based on this website.

9. Security and experimental features

Experimental agent and code tooling is provided to help developers understand and review work. Do not provide private keys, API credentials or confidential code unless you have assessed the risks and permission to disclose it. Some features are intentionally read-only or browser-only; users must not interpret a suggested patch as having been deployed.

10. No professional advice; warranties

CPU AI is a development-stage coding assistant. Its output is not a substitute for independent technical, cybersecurity, legal, financial or other professional advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and outputs are made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis without promises of uninterrupted operation, specific fitness, completeness or error-free performance. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Responsibility and limitations

You are responsible for decisions you make using CPU AI, including running downloaded code, deploying changes, interacting with third-party sites and handling confidential information. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CPU AI and its operator are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from user modifications or reliance on unverified AI outputs. These Terms do not remove mandatory statutory rights or exclude liability where the law prohibits exclusion.

12. Changes, suspension and termination

We may modify features, rate limits or these Terms as the project evolves. We may restrict access during maintenance, abuse investigations or technical incidents. Significant updates to these Terms will be reflected by a revised date on this page and additional notice when legally required. Users may stop using the Service at any time; deletion of saved conversation records is available through the Free AI history controls when configured. For full account deletion, consult the Privacy Policy.

13. Privacy and Google data

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Service uses Google profile details, manages the session cookie, tracks AI usage, processes code snippets and optionally stores chat history. Review it before using Google Sign-In or submitting content. Third-party services have separate data practices.

14. Applicable law

These Terms operate subject to mandatory consumer, privacy and other laws applicable to the Service and its users. No particular court or jurisdiction is designated in this development-stage document, pending identification of the operator's legal entity and relevant service markets. You retain rights that applicable law does not permit you to waive.
